"Beauty will save the world" (Dostoievski)
Beauty "shibui " through handcrafted jewelry
Atelier Sengaa stands out with its philosophy: sharing a vision rather than just a product. The jewelry is designed to evoke emotion and an inexplicable feeling for both the wearer and the observer. Agnès believes that emotion is born from slowness, observation, reflection, and meticulous research, leading to a subtle balance that stirs the soul.

Emotion and timelessness
Time is an essential component in each creation at Atelier Sengaa. Agnès Ankri designs her jewelry through a process of contemplation and careful consideration, taking the necessary time to observe, reflect, and search for the perfect balance. This meticulous process ensures that each piece is a unique work of art, embodying timeless beauty and deep emotional resonance.
Agnès Ankri, the founder of Ateliers Sengaa, spent her childhood surrounded by inspiring adults. Her young years were steeped in the diverse cultures that made up her family, Polish, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian and Tunisian. This abundant wealth, shared between Slavic and Mediterranean cultures, has woven her imagination and her vision of the world.
The numerous trips with her parents gave her unknown territories to nourish her imagination. Art lovers, Agnès anchors beauty as an essential value of the world.

Sculpture of light and space
With an eclectic career that takes her from sculpture to architecture, Agnès's experiences evolve around materials and shapes that make light play.
She is fascinated by the architects Renzo Piano and Sverre Fehn who magnificently use natural and “primary” elements such as wood, brick, terracotta in a purely geometric expression, playing with light as a revealer. Beauty in essence.

The craftsmanship of the millimeter
It is from her experience in construction that Agnès learns that beauty arises from slow and precise work, accomplished by the repetition of the gesture which ensures its mastery.
The hand then allows the material to be revealed
And it was through the woods that Agnes decided to begin her journey. A favorite material in architecture, it has all the qualities to reveal its wonders on millimeter scales.
